We are getting ready for the upcoming Fall hunt test season now....hopefully if all goes as planned  & our dogs work to theri potential,we will have more titled dogs living here after this year!!!!

We are proud to announce that Tracy has decided to get certified as a dog trainer now...She will do this while working & if she decides to take on any training, it will be limited. The main plan is to get  a class together regularly to educate others  & help them get the basic training every dog deserves.

Our "newest' addition is in the works at this time... This will be another champion bred chocolate with 24 titled dogs in the 3 generation pedigree!!!We can't wait to go back to Louisiana toward the end of the year to get CPK'S CAJUN BAYOU GATOR!!!!!

We are very excited to annouce that CPK has teamed up with Fowl Mouth Retrievers, formerly known as Palmetto Kennels, to start training for all hunt test/field trials, & hunting expeditions....This is a great team effort & we can't wait to get in the field !We can't express how much respect we have for Kirt & his training... he's AWESOME!!!!!

Also, Tracy & Joey are the 4-H leaders in Williamsburg County...as many may know this is not a "light" responsibility & we take pride in being able to bring something back to our community..our 4-hrs will not only learn about horses, dogs, & outdoors, but photograpghy & other interests as well.. these kids will hopefully work the Palmetto Retriever Club Hunt Test in March 2011!!!!!

We are hoping to continue our  K-9 obedience classes with Mr.B's K-9 Training this fall...He is a wonderful trainer & definately knows his dogs.

Watch for our upcoming litters for the year... we are so excited to have babies again, as we only did one breeding last year!!!!!!!
